This is one of the best books that I have read in the past few years. It is easy to read and understand and you will be asking yourself questions about life. It will also give you hints and ideas to change the way we do things and see life, I have recommended the book to my friends and collegues in work.
I would recommend that people read this book with an open mind and see if you can change that the way you live.
Well done Martyn this was the first book I have read by you but not the last.

This book is long overdue in the field of emotional intelligence. Since Goleman made us aware of the importance of EI we’ve known that we need it. At last a book that tells us how to actually build it. The book is built on a rigorous platform of research with some of the world’s outstanding young leaders. The author identifies the unique emotional profile of these entrpreneurs and sets the benchmarks to aim for. Each chapter then systematically describes the psychological building blocks that comprise these essential skills. The book has remarkable psychological depth but is very readable, intensely practical and full of interesting stories and research that bring the skills to life. This really is the ‘how to’ manual of applying emotional intelligence to leadership. This is a ‘must read’ for everyone who wants to lead effectively in the 21st Century. It’s a fabulous resource for leaders.
